Spit roasting a whole animal or large joints of meat is a centuries old custom, to celebrate certain important festivals. This has lately gained in popularity and has become a common mode of catering for all types of functions. Spit roast cooking locks in the flavour without cooking the meat in its own fat, giving you a healthier meal and a more flavoursome experience than other catering options.

Unlike some other catering companies we use only the best produce and meats. Our machines are also unique. The spit roast oven stands almost 5 feet high this means you can see the whole pig, lamb or jointed meat rotating and cooking. This also means the temperature of the meat can be controlled at all times. Other companies use spit roast machines which are very low to the ground (coffin type) and the pig, lamb or jointed meat is not visible until the cooking process is finished and only then is it raised from the machine on to a stand where it is visible. But the meat is no longer in a temperature controlled environment, which can cause problems.

All our BBQ & Spit roast meats are professionally selected and prepared by our local butcher. We can also offer organic and free-range meats. For pig or hog roasts the temperature in these other machines may not be adequate to ensure good crackling, which can be very disappointing. We guarantee quality crackling every time.

We are registered with our local Environmental Health Department and undergo regular inspections of our equipment and premises.
